Hey Guys, WSEWC is right about Ed Gallagher. Many consider him second to none, including Gable regarding his influence in the sport. I didn't realize this until this last year but I think Coach Lemon is a grandson or something like that of Gallagher, that is like being related to George Washington or something as far as I am concerned. I will also say this about Gallagher, he always claimed to be from Kansas, and in fact was from Kansas, although he only lived here for a short time. This goes back to the little question about why he is not in our Hall of Fame. I will disagree with some here and that is okay, but Coach Gallagher was all of that including a MAJOR INFLUENCE ON THE SPORT OF WRESTLING IF NOT THE MAJOR INFLUENCE.
By the way Bronco, while I find validity in some of your points here, I am reminded that Mother Theresa never had leprosy but she sure made a difference to the people of Calcutta India and the rest of the world. Don't fall into the trap that just cause one hasn't means they can't.
