He hurt his knee wrestling Trent Swanson the Thursday before last years tournament. 2 years ago he hurt his ankle while wrestling in the tournament. He has been sick with the flu but is getting better.

Seems to be a lot of brash stupid statements mad in this thread

No where in my message did I state that it was the wrestlers decision whether they would wrestle or not. I don't think there is a team in the state that had rather sit home on a saturday than go to a good tournament in Clay Center. Nigel, I really don't have anything against abilene either. I remember Zouzas wrestling at clay center his freshman year.

I think we all know the wrestlers didn't have any say in the decision. Nothing against the wrestlers. Good luck this season Abilene you are a quality team.
