And I'd just like to say that we should all applaud one of our own Kansas schools for their support of womens wrestling. KC Turner has supported womens wrestling so much that they even wear those girly singlets.

I hardly think males equate sex and wrestling when they wrestle a female. I would venture a guess that most guys are more concerned with possibly losing to a girl than with the touchy-feely stuff.

Prant, Mr. makes me sound old or something. I really didn't think you would have a problem either, just a little jab. Kind of nice when someone opens up like that. Would agree about the concern of loosing to a girl but that is okay except in a male dominated society. I do agree that more opportunities need to be given and as a whole I see the comments on this topic supporting that particular idea. That is good and needed for the sport. Coach Ed, just out of curiosity, do you know how many women's scholarships are available for college versus scholarships for men? It would help support my idea that it is possible that women's wrestling can save the sport in the same way it did in soccer.
