After reviewing the latest updated team points total, I thought I would offer up the rest of our team points to whoever needs them. I'm sorry to say they aren't very many, but they could help. Liberal's Joey Scott (14/90 lb) points have, somehow, been re-allocated to SW Grapplers. While only 10, they helped by-pass 6 or 7 other teams. All of this comes as a suprise, since the first standings had his points going to the "one who brought him to the dance"!! I would just a soon keep the rest of our points, as these young wrestlers were proud to represent their home town. However, in the interest of being fair to the rest of teams who were by-passed in the points total, you too can have some. John Bach Liberal Wrestling Club

considering that he wrestled the last half of the season over here in gc...cuz he needed some people to push him in practice, I think that the points were directed approriately.

The team scoring is a joke. Who cares anyway. They need to do away with it. It is an individual sport.

it may be an individual sport, but you are still part of a team, that being the club that you belong too, and should be proud of. what happen to that LIBERAL KS spirit, or does that now only apply to football? didn't when i was growing up, and was a participant in sports.

Each wrestler can decide which team he wants to wrestle with. The point is that if you decide to enter under a team, the paper work should not be altered. As of sub-district each wrestler knows and enters through a club in which they are practicing with. And yes, in this case mentioned above, the wrestler was entered and was practicing with our club. It is an individual sport, along with the individual choice of the club you would like to belong to. All the way through the paper work he was a Liberal Wrestler, until State. The main point is....paper work should not be altered, individual sport or team sport. If you change paper work, for any reason, then it ruins the validity and raises questions about the USA Wrestling integrity for all of us. It just makes you wonder if other things can or have been altered. So how about it....anyone know of other changes after paperwork is completed for Sub-District?
