The results of district 3 west are
1st-Colby Crank-Team Lightning
2nd-Cody Hanel-Beloit
3rd-Ryan Manes-Ellsworth
4th-Brandon Barry-MAC

That kinda stinks that Haskins didnt make weight. He had a real good chance to place at state this year and I wanted to get a chance to wrestle him at state.

I heard that Alex Feldkamp from Mulvane lost to Ian Whittit of Derby at District 2 south subs in OT. Is this true? If so what was the score when they went into OT? And who took 3rd & 4th?

the district that your wrestling in because you see a lot more of the same kids. you look at the district next sunday after sat, meets and you will see about 6 kids at 115 that could beat the other five on a given day. Hawskins that you keep hearing about that did not make weight that people think is real good was 15 pointed by calson and so that shows me that on a given day any one can win but the boy i like but I know hes not going to be in the top 6 is a kid from Manhattan by the name of Sawyer Treinen hes a great kid and up and comming, Colby Crank beat Calson two years ago at state by one or two points but at that time so did some others. calson is the first kid i have ever coached that went to the state finals in his first year of wrestling at eight and under and got second ,his only lost of the year, this year at 12 and under after winning the leauge tournament in middle school he went back to the kids and after 40 matches has not been beaten you have to like him and crank in the finals

Im not positive but im not sure if ive ever wrestled Ryan carlson before. I looked at the reslts of state of 2000 and Carlson had lost to Cody Hanel in the finals. Crank was at 80 one weight clas above Ryan.

To granddad you might ask Ryan to look back and see if he has ever lost to Quinton Ford. By my records Quinton has beaten him twice. Ryan did win the match earlier this year and he is looking forward to this weekend. Quinton also pinned haskins and finished 2nd at the classic. You are right their is several kids in this weight that could win on any given day. GOOD LUCK to all!!

carlson pinned him in Topeka and carson won the tournament. bythe way carlson has not beenbeaten this year and has not wrestled ford but one time this year and yes ford has beaten him but like i said before carlson is a lot better and just let them wrestle and watch. good luck to all the kids and i realy think that the 115 12 and under maybe the best weight in the state this year.
