what were some of the best matches at regionals this weekend? I know Kriegbaum and Garcia had to have been a great match, but what others?

The coffeyville kid had Greer on his back twice and the first time he was stuck, but the ref. (which we only had 3,one didn't show up) was too slow and went the wrong way and by the time he got over there it was too late?
If we had an assistant ref in the semi-finals he could of went down on the other side and told the ref. he's down on this side?
Aitkens should of been in the finals, instead he got beat out?

Sounds like Malloy v. Steinmetz was pretty rockin'. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a rematch in the state finals next week.

At the St-Francis--Oberlin dual, Ross pinned Keck and at the NWKL tourney Ross won with a 9-6 dec. over Keck. During the Regional match the score was 5-4 in favor of Ross in the third period. With .1 seconds left Keck got two points for a takedown making the score 6-5 in favor of Keck. Ross was number two seed and Keck was number three. This match was in the semi finals and Keck ended up taking first over Shipley who was fourth place seed.

Anyone who was at the BVW regional could tell you the 171 final was a good one. It looked like it could have gone either way in the third period, but Cisper showed why he's ranked first in the state. Final score: Cisper(STA) 3 Bauer(OE) 2.

Ross and Keck was a good match. I am not sure how they were on the same side of the bracket and Pfannestiel #1 seed. Pfannestiel had 5 losses coming into regional and ended up 4th.

Elliot(Wichita South) v. Freeman (Goddard) Great movement and intensity on both parts. Both have some funk and keep the match interesting and exciting. Very possible rematch in the state finals..... Good work guys!

I will have to agree with Goldendomer. Steinmetz and Malloy was pretty awesome. They are pretty evenly matched. If they do match up this week, they probably will, I'm sure Mike will keep his eye out for that double leg. It would prove to be another GREAT match. MAN I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE STATE FINALS!!

You hit it right on the head — that was one of the best matches I've seen in years. A real tribute to not giving up, no matter what the score is.
