Thank you Richard for the edit button feature-as you can see the word run has been changed to jump- no intention was made at all regarding the quality or intentions of a great wrestler and kid-no disrespect whatsoever in regards to family, coaches, etc... I'm always impressed by that fact that Aaron Ely is one of the best technical wrestlers in the state of Kansas and was just trying to get some input on his decision-He, again, is a great wreslter and great kid and no intent was made at any disrespect whatsover, and I apologize if any misunderstanding or harm was done

Sundevil,

Appreciate the edit. The word "run" got mine and many others panties in a bunch. Many cracks across Kansas can now rest easy.

Mr. Ely,

I just wanted to state that I can feel your disgust and frustration with these people who claim to know what they are talking about. I went through this on Jarrett, our oldest. Any one that knows our family, as well as yours, is all about the grades and growth. I think Aaron is one of the most promising wrestlers to come out of Kansas. Keep doing what is best for Aaron and your family.

Coach Ed

sptsfan, so now you're saying that you would disagree that this should be a forum where smack talk is tolerated. So, let's review your posts....oh here's a quote from you just two weeks ago.

"I suspect the majority of Kansas coaches understand a couple of things you don't gutstench."

Sptsfan, do you think that the only smack that should be tolerated or welcomed here is your smack? Or, are you just a pompous hypocrite?

In my mind, smack concerning a youth should never be tolerated on this or any boards. I participate in one "smack"/"war" college sports board. Even there I make it a habit to not post smack concerning an amateur athlete. Frankly though, if you consider the above quote smack I may have more problems than I thought! That being, I don't know the testbook definition of "smack". Regardless, let me apologize for hurting your feelings gutstench.

sptsfn, you can always smack talk on me buddy. I'm as thick skinned as you think I am thick headed. I think kids should be able to have the same rights here as you and me. You were suggesting some guidelines that sounded high and mighty. If these kids want to enjoy hundreds of fans applauding them and newspapers writing glowing articles about them, then they ought to be able to tolerate a potshot or two on line without being so offended.
PS...is sptsfan02 all you got?
