Could you please post by Club how many kids you are taking to Nationals this weekend in Iowa. I want to make sure I have enough t-shirts for everyone.

Any word on if they have new people running this tournament this year? If I recall wasn't this thing a disaster last year?

Yes, it was a disaster. They sent out a very nice letter of apology to all the competitors and parents where they assured us it would have the bugs worked out this year. Fortunately for us we don't have to take that gamble, our son is too old this year and will be at high school nationals. He waited approximately seven hours to wrestle, then was told his bracket was dismissed for the day. On the way out of the dome, we heard his name along with "last call"! Fortunately, he made it in time. I'd recommend you don't leave the first day's competition until you're absolutely, positively sure that the information you've been given is 100% accurate. The competition was great, though, and I'm sure it will be better this year, even if they may not have perfected it in only one year. Good luck to all the Kansas wrestlers!!!!

They are wrestling a split session according to the flyer the for session #1 and #2. Midgets and Cadet in session #1 saturday morning. and Novice and Schoolboy in session #2 Saturday afternoon. All wrestled in session #3 saturday evening and from then on.

I called and verified this with the contact on the flyer, but I would recommend all re-confirm when they get there.

Hopefully this will help,

SlamBam
