Which brackets are the most delicious? 5A 171 is good, but after a few quick glances I think the best two are 4A 152 and 321A 145 (of course). I think the "worst bracket" category goes to 5A 215. Ahhhh, 5A.

Probably not the toughest, but definately solid, 5A-130lbs. has 9 guys with a record around 30-5!
Looks like some guys should have went up to 135lbs. or 140lbs.where it would have been easier to place.
4A-152 is a bear!!

4a 130 first three, bowman, jones, and prater, two undefeateds and bowman can't have many losses. 4a 152 with sharpe, taplin, krause should be pretty rugged, 321a 112 may be a little rocky as well.

4a 152 with sharpe, taplin, krause, Frank, Buck, Strawn, Wissman.
PS: Great Match in finals at Royal Valley: Buck (Basehor Linwood) senior returning State runner up vs Strawn Freshman (3o something and 0) went into overtime. Buck got the TD and one 8-6
Any fool can criticize, complain, and condemn- and most do.

The 321A 145 bracket almost makes me soil myself, thinking of the wonderful wrestling, which I will have the honor of beholding in the best state tournament facility, Gross Memorial Colisseum!!

The bottom half of the 5A 171: Steinmetz, Malloy and Sponsel. Payne should be fine getting through the top half--but it is state! Whoever gets through that bottom half could be pretty spent, though. I don't know much about Pipkin, Roberts or Zackary. They all have respectable records I just don't know anything about them. Also, the 5A 160 bracket has all six of the ranked guys and the top four of them are solid. Again, I don't know anything about the guys ranked fifth and sixth--but I have seen all four of the top guys and they are all studs. I know there are some other good brackets namely the 4A 171 for my interests, but I won't bore everyone with all my other opinions.

4A 152 is stacked! Until earlier today when Les Brown forced me to swallow the remainder of that nasty cough medicine, I would have given the edge to Taplin. Should be some excellent matches which, if I'm not beaten by coachjt with his dictionary, will be a pleasure to witness.
Guys, you've had it wrong all these years, send your wife in to cry about junior being overweight (As long as your in District 1).

4A 152 has a quarter bracket with Buck, Johnston & Taplin. Remember that Buck and Johnston took 2nd & 3rd at this weight a year ago and now they match up in the first round. There should be some great first and second round match-ups at state. At 140, Allison defaulted to second at regionals and wound up in the same quarter bracket with Chenoweth (38-0) and on the same side of the bracket as Grater (34-0). Also, due to some kids missing weight or not qualifying for state, the rankings have been updated.
