matman, you really think schippers will beat Oswald at 135, and Horineck from Atwood will beat Lyons at 189???? You must be from out west. If Oswald and Lyons stay healthy for ACCHS, they should take the State Titles at 135 and 189!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topmiller, I like seeing upsets! I think that all those guys have a chance. I really like my 130 pound pick, that would be my best bet besides 119!

If I don't throw in a couple of upset picks where is the fun of making the picks in the first place.

Butts31, I don't know about your 130lbs. being the best bet, I think he will have his hands full with Wilderman. And Zousas at 135lbs. is almost a sure thing!!

Hasbeen,

Sponsel has beaten Wintz everytime they have wrestled this year and each time more soundly. How can you predict Wintz to win State after last weekend Sponsel pinned him? Wintz is a great athlete and excellent wrestler, but it looks like this year Sponsel has his number.

I'm not wanting to really comment to much on this subject, but u have to remember eastkansan, that Sponsel is from Bishop Carroll which is a 5A school and Wintz is from Derby which is a 6A school. I'm not just stickin up for Wintz because he's one of my teamates, but I do see him takin state this year.

Sorry, I forgot Derby was 6A. Has Wintz wrestled Ryan Kromer from Garden City this year?

Kromer and Wintz should wrestle at the Garden City Tourny. That is the only meet that they have against each other until state.

Matman said Horinek would win at 215, not 189. Get your **** straight before you start talking about his picks. I do agree with Lyons winning 189, though. Schmidt will give him a run for his money, though. But I think Schippers will beat Oswald and win at 135.
