some states allow junior high wrestlers to wrestle at the high school level.
I think some of the past studs out of UI were 5 and even 6 time state champs.

Iowa Hawkeye legend Lincoln McIlravey was a five-time champion in South Dakota, where they allow wrestlers to begin competing at the high school level in eighth grade

Forget 5X champs. Jhris and I are somewhere between 9 and 11-time champions.
What's the count up to now, Jhris?

There are two brothers from Michigan that were 4 time champions but had record of 209-0 and and 219-o repectively. if only KSHSAA would allow more points during the year for competition

Well Prant, if I'm not mistaken, our state title count is over 20 now. I didn't take into account the fact that Venegas beat Hemmerling in freestyle. That means that we win all of those, plus the state championships he has from other heavyweights. So I would say a safe guess for our title count is somewhere between 25 and 30,000.
So this kid is putting on his shoes right, and his mom says, honey you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet, and the little kid says, no mom these are my feet

I am glad that it has been explained to me how the guys in Iowa and Minnesota become 5 and 6 time state champions. I always just assumed that it took people in that neck of the woods a little longer to get through 4 years of school!

Yes, some states have 8th graders compete in high school.
Sweez--We don't have junior high state because that would be gay.
