It is pretty important to have enough focus to wrestle whoever your "next" opponent is. This reminds me of 2 years ago when Baker of Hoxie and Campbell of Oakley had been beaten by Miller of Oberlin the year before. Each went to different classes and won state instead of having to prove they could beat Miller. Oh yes Pyle and Drennan did go to Millers weight and oh yeah Pyle won state as did Baker and Campbell. Miller took third. The state finals tape I have from public tv didn't say a thing about Baker and Campbell being obsessed because they never could get revenge on Miller. It was Campbell who was named 3a wrestler of the year, but I guess he still feels bad because he never got revenge? I doubt that very much. I'll bet he is proud of his accomplishments and still has great respect for Miller.
