Just wanted to reflect on the season of high
school wrestling that we all enjoyed. Seems like
it just started, and now it is over. I am from
Ellsworth and needless to say am very proud of
our wrestlers and the coaching staff and anyone
else who made this season possible. I will take
this time to congratulate the Ellsworth Bearcats
on a fine season filled with many good memories.
As a fan it was exciting to watch this team achieve what it did throughout the year. We had several league champs, I think five or six, several regional individual champs, I think that
number was four, and also a regional team championship, and finally two state champs, two
state runner-ups, a fourth place, and a fifth
place at the state tournament, which many of you
already know helped the team to an awesome showing at the state tournament which resulted
in the team taking state runner-up in 321-a.
There were some heartbreaking losses, but when
you stop and reflect at the whole picture the
Bearcats were overachievers. Look out next year,
the team will still be pretty salty.

In Proverbs 12:24 Gods word says: Diligent hands
will rule, but laziness will end in slave labor.

I think the message that the team was getting out
of this scripture was that good things will happen to those that work hard, and on the other
hand to those that do not choose to work for whatever it is that they are trying to achieve, then they cannot expect to achieve very much.
In other words, you will get out about what you
put in. Hope that helps. THANKS!!!!!!!!

Yeah I'm an Ellsworth boy...congrats. However I don't think the Bearcats will be down next year...and down a lot. Sure Warta and Orozco are back and 2 more state qualifiers but there's NOTHING after that. Let's get these other kids to some camps
