" Black players are less likely than whites to finish their careers with degrees, according to the study of NCAA graduation rates."

DUH...Blacks are NBA bound as multimillionaires, I would pass up an education for $$$. You can always come back for it.

I really want to know why they are going off on just the black graduation rate, they shouldn't be saying oh he's black and he didn't graduate. They should be saying: He is a student athlete...he has the athlete part down but obviously forgot the student part.

Whether your black, white, or brown if you don't graduate you shouldn't be separated into genres of people because it makes for poor unrealistic results that aren't true of all colleges.

While the calculation method may be flawed don't let the universities who are not interested in educating their athletes fool you into thinking that is the reason for their low graduation rates. The fact remains, ALL universities are being judged by the same standard and are being compared to each other on an equal basis.

Does that mean a school like Grambling can say they graduate 0% white basketball players?
