Marvio may end up at 150. I know he wrestled 155 at Liberty but I herd he only weighs about 150.

Scott Deo will be there at 14U 150 and Marvio will be at 14U 155 I would love to see these two wrestlers wrestle i think it would be a tough match and very close.

I would like to see that match too. I think Scott is a very good wrestler. He is great on his feet. I saw him defeat a very good Missouri wrestler at Platte City on Saturday. Scott will be a very successful high school wrestler. Marvio though is another story. How do you argue with six straight State titles and several National ones including Liberty Nationals this year and Topeka last year. When I think of a lot of successful big kid wrestlers, I have this impression that they are big strong kids who happen to wrestle. Marvio is a great wrestler first who just happens to be also a lean, strong and bigger wrestler. It will be very interesting to see how he does against the Freshmen this year. I know some 8th graders win State. I think Marvio is a strong threat to be a 8th grade State Champion too.

Marvio and Scott did wrestle eachother in Topeka last year. Marvio got lucky and caught Scott and pinned him in the 2nd period. Scott looked pretty good to me at Liberty. There might be another pretty good match coming in the Classic this year. I think Ben Evans from Hutchinson might me at 155 and they wrestled each other for the State Championship the year before last. It takes some luck to win against good wrestlers, cause anything can happen. There are a lot of very fine wrestlers in Kansas, who on any given day can catch someone and get it done.
