Why isn't he in Garden this weekend. I was looking forward to a Schroeder vs. Beard match up.

This is a rumor, and I want to make that clear, but it is possible that he re-injured a shoulder that he had problems with during football season. I heard that it's not anything that will keep him out of the post season. This time of the year, why take chances? I think there were a few kids held out this weekend to make sure that they could go when it really matters.

Wrestling without being able to use your thumb is not a fun thing to do. It makes holding on to arms and legs somewhat difficult. But Shelstin is right, with it being 3 weeks from regionals its probably best if he sits out from competition and get the most rest for his injury that he can.
