I am planning on going to Abilene to watch the regional finals. The website says that the finals will start at 630pm. I have missed a few finals before because of tourneys running way ahead of schedule. Does this ever happen at regionals?
Hey Nigel - how about giving me directions from Junction City to the site of the regionals in Abilene. I'm thinking if I leave at 530pm I should be there in plenty of time to settle in for the finals. Would you agree - I'd hate to miss something! Thanks.

Easy...
go on I-70 west to exit 278 take a left towards Mcdonalds. Drive down Buckeye for about 10 blocks till you get to the 2nd set op stop lights which is 14th street. Take a right there and go about 1 block and the high school is right there.

The first round ended at 3:45, then they took an hour and fifteen minute break to stay on schedule, with the quarters starting at 5. Judging by how things were run the first day, they should stay on schedule.

The state (KSHSAA) controls the start times of each session...IF the finals are scheduled to start at 630pm, then it will start at 630pm...This is the way the KSHSAA can get more money by charging a separate admission fee to the finals...

It's not about the kids, it's about the cash.

Thanks guys regarding the time thing. Swaz, I know the Welsh that you are talking about. They are not related to me. However, we used to attend the same church. Their son, Jarred took 5th (I think) at state a few years ago for Chapman. I believe he was at 135.
