What good wrestlers are also good at football? What positions do they play? What school do they go to?

I heard that Chris Jennings is quite the multi-sport athlete. He was pre-season all state, which means nothing really but still.....He placed in state last year in wrestling....He bowled a 258 when he was 12 and went to nationals and almost placed, also at the age of 12......I also heard that he's a very attractive man who is single for all the fine young ladies out there.

Well Jhris, I'm gonna call you out for a bowling match. My friends and I decided to move to a real mans sport and do a bowling league this summer and I was pullin' down the 250's like none other, complete with barechested soccer celebrations for every strike.

In football I'm waitin to see if I get any awards, but my coach screwed myself and most of my team on All-League awards, but whatcha gonna do?

And I'm not single....not at all.

LancerM, I have noticed that you have developed a bit of a "man crush" on Jhris. Everywhere he has posted, you have posted something in response.

Seriously though, who is good at football.

Hahaha. I don't know if we're up to man-crush level yet, but we're definitely at Orange Alert. Good call, sir. (But on the same note, the LancerM character sounds like he might be quite humorous...)

On another athletic note, it's quite noted that I myself was QUITE the athlete, what with my 18-18 record, my two seasons of varsity action in football, and of course, my tennis escapades. (Freshman/Sophomore I-70 Champ, 3rd place I-70 last year, suck it Central.) And if we count spelling bees....well we all know about my spelling bee history.

On the other hand, I have never bowled about a 140. Yikes.

And good wrestlers/football players would be...I guess Jason Butler? Is he good at football? Hemmerling/Perry/Carrol were all good at both sports, too. (But did they have tennis? I think not.)

That's a pretty serious allegation Alex, and you know what? It hurts. I would never have a man-crush on Jhris, it'd just be weird. I mean, I barely even know him. Now Justin Dyer...that was a man-crush.

-Aaron medill(LHS) and the younger Stirling (Spring Hill) were both good baseball players along being state placers and what not. Matt Van DeLeen was state ranked at 275 and excelled at baseball.
-Brian Strom, multiple state placer, played varsity soccer.
-Both Miller brothers (SME), both placed at state, played varsity baseball and football.
-Ben Suh, dambled in recreational outdoor and indoor soccer, terrible bowler, STARTED on the freshmen and sophomore football team, varsity hurdler, took tae kwon do for 3 days, currently practicing Judo, and somewhere in there wrestled.

You bet it does Jhris… But I think of your success was due to superior coaching.

Yeah, Rhodes was a pretty ma-ohny football player. So ma-ohny in fact, that we shut his team out 28-0...that's what they get for walking through our stretches. (But seriously, he averaged like 8 yards a carry his junior year.)

And I believe we're talking about wrestlers who are good at other sports. Thus, leave baseball out.

So, from that last statement I gather that you think tennis is amazing? Because badminton is pretty sweet.

And you don't see John Kruk or Fat David Wells playing professional tennis...

Two time champ Jordan Bedore of Goodland and defending champion Jeff Horinek of Atwood will likely both be suiting it up for NCAA DI college football teams next year.

Robinson, you didn't get screwed with the all league awards, it's just the fact that you are in the same league as the Olathe schools. And we all know that nobody can hang with East this year. In fact the all league team was pretty much our starters. I'm sorry you never got to experience our magnificence first hand but we only get regulate on so many of you Shawnee Mission schools, besides it would have only been humiliating for you guys.

But on a more serious note, you guys do have cool jerseys. In fact I would venture to say they are only second to the other Sunflower League East team, who got new embroidered, name-included threads this year.

Yes, your uniforms are pretty tight, our team was in amazement at the personalized names. However, we've gotten new uniforms every year for the last three years at 13,000 dollars a pop so maybe we'll beat you out eventually.

And yes, I got screwed, but so did most of the senior class for us.

Oh my little prant, so u dont think derek jeter or nomar could play a little tennis, see the reason none of the tennis players dont play baseball is cause they wouldnt know how to field a ball, sure they can hit it they show that when they play tennis but can they field, i think not.

"Look at me. I can field." But can you punctuate sentences? I think not. Looks like it's 15-love, tennis.

A tennis ball close to 140 miles an hour. (Well, mine are more like 1400 miles an hour...) A baseball goes what, 105 max? 30-love, tennis.

In tennis, you can get away with wearing short shorts. Booyah. 40-love, tennis.

Anna Kournikova/Serena Williams vs. Fernando Valenzuela/Babe Ruth. Game, set, and match for tennis.

Plus, tennis gets you way more chicks.

And you Johnson County boys get new uniforms every freaking year? Holy crap. Good thing you aren't spoiled or anything...Ha. (And SMEast loses points for having baby blue. So you don't get on the podium for best uniforms.)

First of all:

Wrestler_21_05-
That sentence almost made me forget what a period was.

In other news, tennis players have to hit a ball at varying heights and speeds while also putting more touch on the ball. I highly doubt that either Jeter or Garciaparra would be able to successfully return an Andy Roddick serve, much less even touch it. You see, I know this because I go to Shawnee Mission East, a country club sport stronghold, where we bring home the tennis state championship on a yearly basis. In fact, our girls team just brought another one home a couple weeks ago.

Prant-

You got your post in one minute before mine , so now my punctuation joke looks sad and unoriginal. Darn. And hey, on last years uniforms we had royal blue instead of COLOMBIA blue. Yeah, it has its own special name.

However, the fact that it was royal blue and not colombia blue led our coach to believe that we need another set of new uniforms, you know, to keep the "alumni" happy.
