Matt Heslet Rossville Quarterback
Matt took 2nd at state as a sophomore and I thought exhibited a lot of heart and competitiveness. Last year I thought he fell completely apart in wrestling and lacked the same edge, but this kid has definitely been the team leader for Rossvilles football team, still undefeated and in the sub-state round. I don't think Rossville is as good as the record but he leads this team and refuses to quit.
He has rallied this team from behind several times this year and when Rossville lost two guys, who were the leading reciever and rusher, he showed what a Champion and leader he truly is.
