Just for fun I had to throw that in there cuase I still think 4a is the toughest class, but please no arguemtns about this I've heard it all.

Anyway I just wanted to add some interesting things about the 4a State tournament and show some love to my Abilene brothers.

First at 152 - all year everyone was saying how Ross Taplin was going to win state and so on and so forth then he has one bad match at regionals and all the sudden no one is considering him. Well take a look at the bracket and you'll see just how wrong most people are. Everyone was saying Sharpe was going to win it or Buck, well as of now you are all wrong!!!!! becuase they both got beat! Buck got beat by Taplin, ha ha. I think Ross will have an easy match in the semis and his hardest match will be against Strawn whos one loss came to, guess who? Buck!! so that will be interesting, Ross should win if he keeps his head and heart in it!!!

Next Jake Kriegbaum, sorry to say but when Jake is on his game he is almost unbeatable sure hes had some close matches but who doesn't. Im not expecting an upset here so chalk Stae championship number 3 for Jake.

Ahh 119 Josh Peterson, after sitting out the first half of the season from a ruptured appendix Josh finds himself sitting in the semis and a guaranteed 6th place at least, not bad for only have wrestled 20 some matches. And his opponent alerady has 9 losses so there is a good chance he will make it into the finals which would delight me more than anything else, Pray for him!!!

125 Lucas Geske, oh baby in the semis again!! Not sure what to say here, I know how tough of a wrestler Luke is and most of the matches he loses are really close. I can say that for his weight he is extremly strong he almost took me down in practice one day but I had about 40 pounds on him. In any case a tough match in the semis await him don't know much about this Dunn kid but everyone says he good I hope Luke wins.

135 Brian Zey, well not the best tournament for him so far but hey what can you do? perhaps hell come through the back side.

On a side not at 140 , Danny Grater lost? oh well crap happens

145 Adam Eckert third last year at state, what will he do this year? well hes in the semis and up against perhaps the best guy in the bracket, but Adam can win if he wants to, were talking about at guy that as a freshman could give Dustin Tovar a match in practice and T was a two time should have been 3 time state champion.

and thats about it as far as Abilene is concerned. 6 qualifiers 5 in the semis not bad for a days worth of work but its not over yet. I see at least 2 of those into the finals I would like to see the other 3 in as well.

Team score - well as of now Abilene is in the lead but that is nothing new, the lead will start to dwindle as the rounds go by tomorrow especially with Colby and their backside work and maybe even Clay Center but who knows. Im not counting on Abilene winning the title but I will be absolutly delighted if they do and I'll wait outside the high schol until 4 in the morning for them to get home

Well bye for now

Your a clown Nigel, and your right there's so many valid arguments against the title on this thread that I wouldn't know where to start. But for 4a Abilene looks real tough again this year as always.

Actually someone who was posting the brackets on the website accidently showed Grater getting beat and I opened my mouth before I confirmed it but I can admit when im wrong. On the other hand I didn't realy beleive grater had actually gotten beat. Now ask for Lucas he may lose but I hope that he doesn't cuase I want to see him have success especially being a state champion as a junior. And im not sure if they Clay Center guy was being a smart guy about Lucas but all I have to say is, Guess which team is not going home with a team trohpy this year?
