That was an unintelligent comment. There are many impressive freshmen who could walk away with state titles. They deserve the same recognition as all the upper classmen out there.

at 130- David Loos from Bishop Carroll. He's probably not the best but he's up there. Unless he wrestles like he did at regionals where he choked.

i think you that you might have to go into some jv kids for some of the weights because a lot of teams dont have any freshman on them.

Thad Taylor from Seaman is a pretty good 215 wrestler for a freshman. He qualified for state in the hardest 215 regional in 5a.

Sorry but Jonas doesn't even compare to Erisman... Had it not been for a terrible stalling call he would have been walking away from witchita with a state championship.

At 103 Tristian Deshazer or Aaron Bird they are both talented freshman. One took first and one took third at state. they should have been in the finals together but Bird didnt shoot on metzler so he lost 9-6

Ol' Devo beat Schamberger from Hoxie, but I think its worth mentioning that Schamberger beat Matt Warta twice. I belive Warta won state last year, and I though I had heard someone say he was a 2 timer, but don't quote me on that. Thats pretty impressive.

how are you gonna sit there and say jonas isnt as good as erisman or whoever it is how do you know. He is a state champion who cares about a horrible stalling call jonas never put himself in that situation. Jonas can battle with anyone in the state at his weight he already proved that. My vote for best freshman 145 is jonas.
