I haven't looked at all the weights yet. But I have looked at 189 pounds for some reason. It has

Perry - Hutchinson / Ranked #1 in 6A
Tatro - Maize / Ranked #2 in 6A
McGovern - Lawrence Free State / Ranked #5 in 6A
Browning - Olathe North / Ranked #6 in 6A
Monks - Stilwell Blue Valley / Ranked #4 in 5A
Burns - Bonner Springs / Ranked #6 in 5A

I wondered if anybody knows for sure what teams are going to be at BVNW. The KWCA site schedule lists BVNW, SMNW, MAIZE,NEWTON,LAWRENCE,HUTCH,GODDARD,BVW,BONNER SPRINGS,BLUE VALLEY, GARDNER-EDGERTON,TURNER,OLATHE NORTH AND ST.THOMAS AQUINAS. It omits SMS and I know they will be there and a post I was reading mentioned that LFS would be there. I sure would like to know!

I believe there are 23 teams competing this year, 24 if you count BVNW JV team. You are correct on the teams you listed with also Shawnee Mission North, Shawnee Mission South, KC Washington, Wichita West, Blue valley West, KC Harmon and Bishop Miege. 119 looks challenging, like many of the weights, but at 119 Knox (WW), Garcia (H), and Bohning (Maize)all square off. I feel many of these weights are loaded, as mentioned above 189.

125 should be interesting as well, Cornejo from WW, Jones from KC Turner. 135# Roath from KC washington ranked 2 at 5a, Craig from Hutch ranked 1 in 6a (not sure what happened at Newton), Vandenburg from Bonner is wrestling well(should be ranked), Sultani from SMS ranked 5 at 6a.

Considering there are only 6A and 5A teams at this tournament (Meaning only 12 possible ranked kids per weight class)this is the breakdown of ranked kids:

103 6
112 2
119 4
125 4
130 4
135 5
140 5
152 4
160 2
171 4
189 6
215 5
275 4

This proves to be a loaded tournament, with many other good kids that arent ranked. Many have won and placed high in other tournaments and several ranked kids will definately not place here.

Andover High School will also be attending BVNW tournament. They are bringing 4 of their 6 wrestlers! Don't think you should worry about them taking home the team trophy.

Hey crossface-cradle nice name. At 135 you forgot about Flamez. I put money says he will be in the FINALS this weekened. And at 125 you forgot about Hutch Kyle Oyler. Over all I think that 103 will be the toughest.

Crossface-killer, Maybe he didn't forget about your team mate and he just dosen't think he will make the finals. Didn't he lose 7-0 to a kid from Toganoxie for a 4th place finish at Salina South?
