well we'll get the chance to see who really is the boss after this match-up, should be a very good match tomorrow, will be a deciding factor in a lot of debates. Newell also in the same round on the frontside will get to face Trevor Stewart of Michigan, not too shabby

I know Taplin isn't in awe of many guys and usually it's the other way around, but do you suppose that Taplin will have to much respect for Cozart, or just rip his head off? Hopefully he's saved the headlock grunt for this round!

I spoke to Salyer at the tag team match at Topeka, he had said at that time that Cozart would win that match, I got the impression that they had wrestled before and that Cozart had controlled the match.

From what I have heard Taplin was put on his back as well. I think we know the answer to this question now.

Kind of a stupid thing to say, he got beat by 5 points the first match, he might have faired better.

every match is different, hard to tell how it would have went when it's on a scale this big, although talking to a person who was there, it seems that Cozart was HUGE, looked almost 20lbs. BIGGER than Taplin if that's humanly possible.

From what I saw, Taplin wrestled Cozart the same way I wrestled Taplin. With way too much respect. It's good to respect them, but if you respect them too much, you start changing the gameplan that has always worked for you. It seemed like at the end of the match, when Taplin started really opening up, he started doing a lot better. Almost caught Cozart on his back. Just too much of a deficit too overcome. I was impressed nonetheless by the way he wrestled and handled himself afterwards. I really wish I could have seen a rematch in the consolation semi's. Congradulations on your all american finish.
