Our 135 pounder, Jason Corwin wrestled 19 state placers this year. Tough schedule for the boy! Anybody wrestle more? He ended up 3rd.

If you wrestled at the Newton TOC you saw the 3a state team champs, the 4a team champs, the 5a team champs, the 6a team runner-up and an Oklahoma team champ. Congrats to Newton on putting together such a tourney and the wrestlers who braved that lions den.

Spell my freakin name right. I beat one of the state runner-ups by major decision. Lost to Spencer Burns in OT and I beat 6 of the 8 state placers. I didn't include the state tournament.

Coach Lamar,

What was his W/L record against the 19, and what year in school is he?

Wiscombe beat 16 state medalists, including 2 state champs, and 5 wins over runner ups. Coach Erickson From SFT just sent me this.

My senior year (2004), I wrestled:

Joseph Cornejo, lost by pin. (2xstate champ, 2x runner up)
Lucas Zouzas twice, one loss by pin, one by major decision 1-11 (2x state champ, 2x runner up)
Jerry Sullivan, lost by decision
Zack Hentzen twice, lost once in OT, won once by decision. (1x state champ, 1x runnerup)
Geoffery Tucker, won by decision, (i'm not sure of his state record, I know he's a 1x state champ, and 1x 3rd place)
Brendon Halpin, lost by pin (i made a bad move in that match) - (1x 4th place)
Michael Miller three times, beat him once in 2.O.T, beat him once by decision, and lost once by pin (1x 5th, not sure of he's placed other times)

I had a tough time staying off of my back
