Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Matt Pyle Div. III National Champ

Former Sabetha High School wrestler and 2x Kansas State Champ Matt Pyle of Luther College defeated Clint Manny of Simpson Colleg 8-1 in the finals. Matt has defeated Manny twice this year and has only wrestled since semester!
Way to go Matt I am sure the whole Pyle family is in amzement! What a year, little brother Jason wins a State title and Matt wins a National Title.
Congratulations to the Pyle boys on a great year!

I would also like to congratulate Matt Pyle on winning a National Championship. You have always been a CLASS ACT not only on the mat but off the mat as well. I would also like to congratulate Jason Pyle for his state championship. Parents Gary and Laura Pyle must also be commended on the fine job they have done raising these two young men and the rest of their family. I know the entire community of Sabetha must be very proud of you.

Coach Ross thanks for the words of encouragement, it has been a very exciting first year here at SHS. Many of the wrestlers were wondering about you and your family and how things are going.
