Just thought I'd give everyone an update on the magazine and the wrestling coverage we have offered so far ...
In last week's issue, our first of the winter season, we had wrestling stories on Garden City, Columbus, Bishop Carroll, Norton and on the showdown last week between Clay Center's Jacob Marrs and Bishop Carroll's Ryan Sponsel. A photo from the Marrs-Sponsel match was on the cover. We also had several photos from the Valley Center tournament.
This week we are working on stories about Norton's Michael Sprigg, the youth movement leading the Andale wrestling team (with a photo of Andale on the cover), Abilene's Tanner Dawson as well as a couple of others. We will have several photos from the Clay Center Invitational this week.
We are also running the state rankings and whatever tournament results we get in prior to press time.
If you have not checked the magazine out yet I certainly hope that you will. I have vowed to bring more and better wrestling coverage to this state and hope that you all will support this venture.
