What happened to Artie Squire at 171 from SMN? Why did he not wrestle?

Artie got sick early Saturday morning. He started vomiting. Lasted about 24 - 36 hours. Wrestled against Dean from Turner on Wednesday and won in overtime.

Given, the tourney wasn't all that tuff, but keep in mind these are kids that are trying to better themselves by competing in wrestling. We all aren't as gifted as you gutstinch. Your comments are disrespectful and very much un-welcome - your once again, proving to be a discrace for the sport.

Considering that there are MANY very good wrestlers who are not on this forum, OR don't have team mates who get on here and talk about them OR for whatever reason there isn't the name recognition, does not mean that they are not quality wrestlers. If we only went to watch the few names that are discussed on this forum, well, we would only need one mat and one location for state finals, wouldn't we?

Gut seems very much disatisfied with Kansas wrestling as a whole. Which makes me wonder why he even involves himself in it. His constant negativity regarding all things Kansas Wrestling certainly isn't contributing to its advancement. Heck im out of shape and haven't wrestled in competition for nearly 5 years, but I'd like to go out on the mat and teach Mr. Gut a few things.

One only needs to look at some of the Kids wrestling results to see many familiar names to Kansas wrestling. Many brothers, cousins, sons continuing the tradition of their elders. It appears that the Kansas Wrestling family tree continues to grow and flourish.

Now I will retreat to my sod home and await the next "Gut-wrenching" sour wind to blow through.

gutwrench, even though I realize you are a troll who thrives on causing mishap and mayhem amongst the boards, you are quite good at pointing out the negative in others. I now challenge you to prove your worth in being a superior wrestler and spend some time bragging about YOUR accomplishments on the mat. Prove now that you are skilled enough to back up your talk.

Vince,
It is appears Gut is back with some venom and vinegar. I am disappointed that he still has not identified himself as he has said he would previously. That would help us at least give him the kudos he does deserve for his

I have really enjoyed his posts about getting ready for the season and his point of view on offensive wrestling. I wish he would stick to that.

I personally have enjoyed some of the banter in the past from the manhattan young men but Gut's
ascerbic wit is at times hard to take and has crossed the line to being disrespectful and rude.
