I'd wish for officials to come to a consensus on what constitutes out-of-bounds and in-bounds. At a tournament this weekend, I saw one toe in, two toes in, and no toes in count as in-bounds on takedowns. I saw one body out, both bodies out and everything in between count as out-of-bounds. My personal favorite was the "if it looks like they might go out" out-of-bounds call. So which is it fellas? It sure would make the spectator experience a lot more enjoyable!

The rule simply put states that the supporting points of 1 wrestler must be in bounds ( The physical painted line is out of bounds in high school & kids even though near falls and falls can still be scored if the scapula or shoulders on over or on the line ). "Toes" don't necessarily have to be the supporting points. Elbows, knees, shoulders, and even the head can be a supporting point. They are "supporting" the weight of the wrestler.

Now in high school its a lot easier to make these calls because the mat should be setup with plenty of safety area. Whereas in kids, boundry lines are shared and thus you may have to stop the match before they actually reach the line to avoid a collesion with the wrestlers on another mat.

The college rule is awesome. One supporting point in bounds and that's all you need to score. It makes the mat about twice as big as it is. In high school you could go this route but the scoring tables need to be moved and we need some safety mats. One rule needed is that refs who don't penalize the guy playing the edge and refuse to reward the guy on the offense need to be taken to the parking lot and tar and feathered.

Put up a cage... "Two men enter, one man leave!"

Cage fighting would be entertaining for me- But I for would not want to coach it so i think I would just be a fan.
