i was wondering if neone knows who will be at the new school in olathe, if kids from other olathe schools are goin to like transfer or what. i also hear rumors that chino is gonna be there. can anybody clear this up?

i also heard that chino and conor r considering it. If mesa moves there then they will probably go.

From what i know Mesa is the new head coach now for olathe south high.... Chino will be finishing up for olathe south high not olathe northwest...I also hear that Adam Almaguer will also be attending olathe south high and not olathe north as a freshman....I do not no of anyone transfering at this time from south high...

sthwrs, you are correct. Adam is living with his father about 2 blocks from OS. I have been hearing all summer about Chino going to Northwest as well as Olathe East. I do know he was considering Aquinas as a freshman but decided against it. If Conor was going to transfer why would he not go to Blue Valley West where his old man teaches? They would all be fools to leave now with Coach Mesa taking over.

anybody of any notable mention going to wrestle for olathe northwest?? i havent heard a thing about them.

The only person I know of that went to Northwest from ON is Matt Matheson who wrestled 135 last year for ON. Other than that there are two freshman with experience and everybody else is new to the mat.

aaaah yes, good ol matt matheson. i wrestled him sophomore year. If memory serves me right he qualified for state at blue valley west. I watched him win in overtime to qualify for state. I found myself cheering and jumping up and down for him. He wrestles with a lot of heart and improves greatly every year. He should have a solid season this yr.
