1-1-2 When multi-dual meet competition is held, the first weight class to be competed in for the subsequent dual shall be one greater than the starting weight class from the previous round.


SO does that mean when Chapman and Junction city do the double dual at Clay Center this year if Chapman and Junction start at 103lbs, that Junction City would then face Clay Center starting at 112, and then Clay and Chapman would face at 119 to start?

It depends on if they choose to follow NFHS rules or "opt out" with KSHSAA.

Similar to NFHS having a draw to choose the opening weight of a duel, but KSHSAA choosing not to do so and begin every duel at 103.

I guess this is a question for Rick and when you go to your rules meeting, ask him...
