Watch for Dustin Bowen and Altman in the finals. My money's on Bowen......

Furches probably will win it but I wouldn't say hands down. When him and Cox go at it you just never know. Also at Basehor Eck wrestled 171, Is he at 160 now? Him and Kellerman at 171 would be sweet!

Come on guys, Trent Cox is at this tournament as are a number of other wonderful wrestlers. Trent is still in my opinion the best in the state at 103 period. Nathan can beat him, but I would be a fool to say that Trent can't beat Nathan and Trent has beaten him plenty of times in the past. Anyone counting on the match at GC as an indicator as to who will win didn't see the match. IMO Trent had a bad call go against him that changed the match. I have more respect for Trent and his dad Terry Cox than anyone will ever know. I would go so far as to say that Trent and Terry had a lot to do with us moving back to Kansas. I still say, without question, Trent Cox is the most under rated wrestler in America. He should be ranked in the top 10 in the nation and why he isn't is beyond me. Another thing and both boys know it, they will likely have a few matches they HAVE to win if they want to face each other. One match at a time.

I agree with Mike...don't underestimate Trent Cox. He lost on an escape call and a penalty point this past week. If you don't think "revenge" is on his mind by getting one back, then you are sadly mistaken. These two guys will be fun to watch for years to come.

First, I hope that they tourney is seeded so Furches and Cox meet in the finals instead of the semi's like last weekend at Garden. Still, anytime you have a returning state champion, he usually goes as the one seed. They usually don't finish fourth, though.

How long has Eck been at 60? Does he have enough weigh in's to stay there, or is he going back to 71? If he stays at 60, the Russell regional at that weight will be brutal.

Hey Mike, I'm not too smart about this wrestling sport since I'm one of these media types who thinks it's better for the sport to have all your best kids wrestling state in the same location so you'll have to help me point my camera in the right direction on Friday afternoon, ok.

Bowen and Altman will be an excellent match. i wish i could be there to watch it. i really couldn't say who would win but bowen has had no problems with anyone i've seen him wrestle so far this year.
