Where is everybody going? I know the Manhattan tournament has down sized from the old Ahern, but is it going to hurt Salina which has been the midseason "test" for many years. It's a shame they are both the same weekend.

Salina's entries close today, anybody from Salina know how many entries they ended up with?

I do know some pretty tough Okie's are coming to Salina.

We are going to Salina, and hate the fact that they are both on the same weekend. Both are great tournaments and I wish them both lots of success. This is one situation that a split session of some kind would have allowed some of us to go to both tournaments. Like a division and weight on Friday night and another Saturday morning and another Saturday afternoon. It would have allowed at least the opportunity for some kids to do both.

Mac is going to Salina as well. I do wish that they were not on the same day. Both are very good places to go. But if you have two good places to go then you have to think what is closer.

Wow, I'm glad my son is in high school now! Those were two of our favorite tournaments, I would have hated to make that choice! There ought to be good wrestling either way you go. Although I enjoy a weekend in Manhattan more than almost anything, competitionwise I think I'd take Salina. Close call, though. Good luck to both tournaments, and hopefully they won't conflict next year.

Does anyone have the latest # on entries at Salina? Last I heard, the number was around 1100 with entries coming from Okla., Neb, Mo, and Nevada.

I like both tournaments but come on,Salina hands down is always the best tournament in the state.
