Six to seven matches before? Fool, seriously. Pamon and I wouldn't be ready to wrestle unless we were up an hour before. When I wrestled 215 I would start warming up at 140. Here's the routine:
1) Wake up.
2) Go to the bathroom.
3) Slap the legs out a little bit. Maybe skip.
4) Go to the bathroom.
5) Check the brackets.
6) Look at the opponent to see if maybe I could pick him out. Never worked.
7) Go to the bathroom.
8) Back to the brackets.
9) More leg slapping, more skipping, maybe some stretching.
10)Make funny jokes with Jhris.
11)Go to the bathroom.
12)Maybe throw up in a trash can....maybe not.
13)Go to the bathroom.
14)Go through more slapping- legs, arms, chest. More skipping. By this time, explaining to strangers why I'm slapping myself/skipping.
15)Check the brackets.
16)Final bathroom visit.
17)Final bracket visit.
18)Water.
19)Hear name called, take off shorts and long sleeve shirt.
20)Get punched in the head by my coach. (Ow. Seriously.)
21)Run like a gay man to the table (arms flapping like a raptor), run like a gay man to the center of the circle.
22)Commence stalling.
23)Win millions of matches.
24)Win millions of tournaments.
25)Go to bathroom.
