The Hahn bros are the only ones i can remember that three of them were all in the state finals, I THINK in three consecutive weights, the same year. That was an especailly tough accomplishment due to the fact that they were all different ages, not twins or triplets or anything. I guess that may have happened some other time but that's the only one I can remember. I am sure their parents were a nervous wreck!!!!!

Kirk and Roger Baker were both state champions at Goodland. I think Kirk went on to coach somewhere. (smile)
The two Gabel brothers in St. Francis won 7 out of a possible 8 state titles.
... the world will little note, nor long remember what we said here, but it should never forget what they did here...

Dalefish, thank you for your comments on my lack of intelligence. I see you are a reader. I said I thought they were I didn't know, but hey as Kris Kristoferson said, "If you don't have anyone else in the world to look down on feel free to use me". Go for it. Being wrong is really not a big deal, I see you are still living in Bucklin, sort of an IQ check there isn't it.

Hey Westfahl, you were right about the segers. They were triplets, at three different weight classes. Ulysses has had some great brother combos. The Cruths never could beat the roark brothers in the finals but they were both tougher than nails. Brandon Cruth was an all american but couldn't beat Randy. My brother Wes and I were both state champs from Ulysses, along with my dad Ron Walker.I can remember alot of great brother combos throughout the years. Vests,Drakes,Saferites,Bahes,Kosters,Keiswitters, Biddles,Franks.I'm sure if I thought about it I could keep going.

Devin was a 4x placer fresh. 4th soph 6th (broken collor bone) junior 1st and 2nd his senior year losing a match he should have won against a very talented wrestler you may have heard of him Tanner Gardner lol. That right there is a nice brother group if i say so myself.

Duane and Dwight Warner were the two Kinsley guys. At one time we had 35 kids who were part of brother combinations on one team there and made the Grit newspaper which we were all really fired up about. Course then we read it and it made us sound like a bunch of hillbillies (which we were but didnt want to be reminded of lol).
