A friend of mine told me that Kory Lira at 125 pounds last year in 4A put up a bench of 300! He went to school with him and said he seen it on the lifting record board. I dont know but he sure was built like he could.

I believe it, he was about 4 foot nothing and built like a brick house.

I hear that norton's JV 171 pounder is also 4 foot nothing and built like a brick house. I also hear that he can bench around 370. He must not be able to implement that enormous strength too well.

Josh Hood of Wichita-South benches 235 while weighing 119. Also he can do 200 dips in a row!

When I saw Kory Lira wrestle Jones last year in the State Finals, I was amazed. That kid was ripped. I can't imagine how much he would put up if he were 6 foot tall.

I think Potter at 119 benches like 95 it might even be 100 pounds. But he is known for his squat which is around 123 or so... soooo yeah he is pretty strong. oh yeah he cleans like 475 also

You guys are missing an important point: weight room strength does not always transfer to the mat. I have wrestled guys that look like Arnold and could bench a VW Bus, but aren't all that strong on the mat. On the other hand, I've wrestled guys that look like Orren Prohaska who bench 225, and they are strong as crap.

But...That being said, Boach Clack is strong as King Kong.
