I know there have already been many posts about this, but because of this weekends results i was wondering if Baker from hoxie really got pinned by Hejny(spelling) from hoisington, and i was curious as to how everyone thinks Kyle Patton will do at the state tournament.

Baker wasn't pinned, he lost 8-3....just a spark to light him on fire for this weekend.

I think Baker and Weatherbee will be in the finals and Patton will get third.

Baker and Baxter wrestle first round. If Baker wrestles smart and stays off the bottom he should control the match. I would say that Baxter will probably get fourth.

Looking at the bracket, I think Weatherbee from TMP will dominate on the bottom side. The top side is pretty stacked, I think Baker will most likly meet Weatherbee in the finals. The winner of this, i guess we will just have to wait and see. Depends who is wrestling good that weekend. Good Luck to all!

Ya chandler hart is a really good wrestler, i wrestled him my second week back and lost to him by 3 points, and this weekend at state, if i win my first match i will see chandler second(that is if he beats lance allen). but you are right whoever wrestles on their game this weekend will prevail.

I don't see how everyone can say that Baker will dominate the top side of the bracket. If I heard right, Baker has lost to Baxter this year, and will wrestle him in the 1st round, and Baker lost to Hejny of Hoisington at regionals 8-3. I agree that Baker is one of the best, but if he wrestles inconsistent, at state, like he's done a few times this year, I don't see why Patton should not walk his way into the finals. Patton's only lost 1 match in the last two years, and I don't see why people think he's just going to roll over at state.

maybee cause pattons loss was to baker and baker dominated him... bakers loss to baxter was (in my opinion) a fluke

Baker lost to the hoisington, but he's in the bottom side, making that loss insignificant to the top side results. Baxter should not have pinned Baker. Baker was out of bounds when the pin was called. After that, Baxter ducked Baker the next week at pburg, because he had an "injury." Appeared to me that he was just trying to preserve his good regional seed. Patton may have only lost once, but that was an *** whooping by Baker. Therefore, looks to me like Baker will dominate on the top side of the bracket, and meet Weatherbee in the finals for a very exciting championship match.

I Don't think Patton is as great as everyone makes him out to be, i mean heck ya i'll give up props to the guy cuz hes one of the better wrestlers to walk the mat in the past few years, but i wrestled him at regionals and without the intimidation of him being a 2 time state champ, only losing once in the past 2 years, and it being finals i think i coulda possibly coulda kept it to a 1 point match, and i'm not really anybody, that anyone would know so i would be lookin to see him in the consolation side of the bracket this weekend.

What do you think the out come between Weatherbee and Baker will be.....IF they are to meet in the finals?.....Weatherbee has pinned Baxter and also beat Henjy from Hos. 11-2 already this year. This could be a close match, then again....

Patton is good...period, i think it was good that he lost to Baker, this gives him a little cusion, not loosing in 2 years, wow, that would be a lot of pressure build up on a person, and now that he had lost, and that pressure is lifted off of him, i think Patton will be in the finals for sure, he is not one who is goin to roll over, this is his senior year, and he is goin to make it a good senior year.

Weatherbee has beaten:
Hejny
Ortiz twice, once being a pin
pinned Simon Orozco
pinned Lance Roe
Pinned Chauncey Baxter

I see no reason why he won't PIN Baker or Patton in the finals as well.
