I just got back from the Santa Fe Trail Regionals and it was AWFUL! The water in the place was always off or the showers had scalding water! There were no emt's there for the injuries or even a trainer. Is that legal? Then they make you buy their water because the fountains don't work and the toilets didn't flush either! NASTY! They should get their rights to hold a tournamanet revolked. It was that bad.

SFT ran an excellent regional tournament, and wrestled great too. The water pressure problem was not their fault, a water main break caused that inconvenience. The ticket prices are set by the KSHSAA, not the host school. Any regional attended around the state would have had the exact same prices. And I do recall seeking medical training services for my athletes throughout the event. It was unfortunate a young man had to be taken off in a stretcher and I hope he is recovering well. But he seemed very well tended to by the host school medical team, school admininstrators, coaches, etc., as well as emergency crew as they showed up.

I would like to give a high five to SFT for hosting (and winning) a great tournament.

i went to sfths, and everytime that we hosted a major event the toilets clogged up or something because the plumbing does suck but who wants to pay to get it fixed when they only have maybe 1 or 2 major events every couple years. But congrats to coach Erickson on winning the tourny he really has done a nice job with the kids out there

I apologize for the water problem. There is no excuse for it other that we haven't fixed the problem. You can be sure I will bring it up at the next board meeting. And I can assure you Mr. Blosser will not allow SFT to hold an event until it is fixed. Sorry for everyones inconveniance!! Good luck at state!

The 125 pounder from sft that was injured is doing fine. Has a concussion and whip lash. Hopefully might be able to wrestle in a couple of days but that is questionable. The trainers did a great job!
