Are the Topeka schools out Wednesday for the weather? Looks like all the other teams at SMS will miss a day of practice tomorrow.

It was a great tournament VERY WELL ran. Congrats to STA on first place. Next time we will bring the full varsity team and try to even it out some more.

And to answer the question from the best match of the day... it was the Mamie finals match. I don't remeber who it was against though. He was apperantly the state champion from last year. People were saying that this is going to be the finals match at state.

I assume PCMO is Platte County, Missouri? While I agree that they are very super, I think we may attach a little too much importance to their out-of-state-ness. (As we do with all teams.) I remember my junior year, Platte County came to Highland Park and was nationally ranked...and we promptly beat them by at least 4 trillion points. Granted, they had plenty of studs and may have been missing one or two guys, but they wouldn't have made up the point difference.

The point, as always: Kansas wrestling is way manlier than anywhere else on the planet. (Unless, of course, it's 5a. )

(Just kidding. Kind of. Ha.)
