I hope the refs are a little better at calling stalling at state. Just because you are 215 or 275 does not give you the license to stall. If you are going to call it on the little guys call the same for the big guys.

NO ****!! I freaking hate it when I sit there and watch someone stall. It's not a HUGE problem for little guys like myself, but those big guy matches suck when the ref just lets the guys sit there and stall all freaking day.

You guys obviously can't play it off as good as we can. We just don't get caught stalling. You little guys aren't very good at covering it up.

No, there is just more movement in a small guy match-up then there will be in a fat-guy match up. You know? But there are some stallers that don't get hit with it. If you are stalling you are stalling there is no covering it up; if you get out to the side and still don't do anything, it's not stalling, there is no weight on the bottom guy, and if he can't get up, he's just a sissy.

Man, stop hating on the fat guys...we can't help it if we're just more talented at certain aspects of wrestling than you littluns are.
You better watch out, someone's catching up to you.

I witnessed a lot of stalling at regionals too! For two rounds some of these wrestlers would just hang out and stall and stall and....... The Refs would award the opponent one point for the entire two rounds! That's pretty pittyfull! The guys that wrestled their hearts out ended up loosing while the guys that restled comfortably for two rounds pulled out a win in the end because they had all the energy left. I am hoping for better calls too.

Mr. kansas123,
First of all-like you said-that is the ref's problem, not the wrestlers themselves. If you were allowed to do nothing for two periods and save your energy for the third, you would do it. It is also stupid to make blanket statements about groups of wrestlers.
On a side note: your spelling of "pittyfull" was pitiful. Good lord, you weren't even close.

I just want one of you little guys to get underneath a big man and let him squeeze the piss out of you in a front headlock and tell me why big guys might not shoot as much!!! I think you opinion may change a bit.

Well Falstaff, if you're going to make comments on grammar and spelling then maybe you should check your own **** posts better. You either put in an unneeded 'a' before "groups" or added an 's' on the end of "groups" where it wasn't needed.
So ha.
You better watch out, someone's catching up to you.

not nessacerly(sp), our heavy is a mear 220 with all his clothes on. and most of the guys he wrestlers are 250-270. now that is 30+ pounds of fuscle(mixture of fat and muscle) on you. it's tough. and even if he weighed the same, still that much weight on you is going to be hard to move around. the lighter weights take it for granted that their guy is only 100-130 pounds.

Ahhhh you bring me to my next point "Finish"....the wieght classes are also more spread out so you have a lot of body sizes especially in 215 and 275. Look at the lower wieghts you have a wieght class every five pounds...in the upper wieghts it jumps 18 pounds from 171 to 189 and then 26 pounds from 189 to 215 and then anyone under 275 so you get many different body sizes and a lot of underwieght wrestlers...if you are wrestling 275 at 219 pounds you don't want to get stuck underneath a 275 giant!

Come on Daniel? That is a good saying but that is one thing Rose Hill knows nothing about. It has cost us some matches but we have won more matches by always putting pressure on the other guys and wearing them out.

I was not saying I use this method to win, nor does anyone from Rose Hill. I was merely giving fat guys something to defend themselves with.
