Why are most people leaving out Kyle Davis? He beat Flory who beat Payne like 2 or 3 times this year....Kyle Davis impressed me at state with his wrestling...I give props to him!

Unfortunate-Son how many State Championships did you win? You seem to have such great knowledge.

Unfortunate-son, you think that Payne lost too many matches huh? He went 130-11 in his career which is the ninth best win to loss ratio in the history of Kansas High School Wrestling. So next time you make an erroneous error in judgement, make sure you only think it, and not type it.

Payne was also one of only 2 Kansas wrestlers to win in the Metro Classic. He's definitely in the top 3 in my book. According to the Metro program, Payne had the fewest losses of any other wrestler there, including MO. I don't know where you're coming from, Unfortunate-son.

The only loss Cisper had all year was 3-1 to Malloy in overtime. I think at year end Cisper was wrestling his best. I would vote for Neil Cisper to win the mythical All State at 171 at the end of the year.

A sports editor I know did some research and that is what he found. Check if you like. If that is wrong, I will stand corrected.

Doesn't matter how Nathan's fine record ranks in history ..... if you took all the great 171 pounders in the state and put Payne on one side and Steinmetz on the other, they'd find a way to meet in the final, just as they have done for the past three years. True Story!

Cisper was first at the Bobcat classic and Payne finished third although they didnt wrestle. Stienmetz didnt wrestle but has never been better than fourth there.
