I would like to congratulate the Burlington wrestling on a well-run tournament. It was one of the few tournaments we have been to that started on time, and everyone running the tournament was friendly and helpful. The introduction was an excellent was to start it all off. I would like to commend you on a great tournament.

Coach Vander Linden, great tournament, It was ran smoothly. After seeing Matts match how is he doing, he looked sore even in the following matches.

Travius & Jeremy -

Thanks for the compliments. I am glad that both of your clubs were with us. It is good to see young coaches involved in the sport in a positive way.

The credit for the way both of our tourneys (Saturday and Sunday) ran off goes to our wrestling parents and club coaches. They worked really hard to put together two great events that were focused on kids first. I am very grateful to have many great parents involved in our club.

I was also impressed with the sportsmanship displayed by both the wrestlers and the coaches throughout both days. We put that out as an expectation that we would have good competition and great sportsmanship. All 460 kids that competed in Burlington last weekend and coaches from over 40 clubs did a great job in making that happen. I wish all kids tourneys set high levels of sportsmanship as a key factor of tournament success.

Jeremy - Thanks for asking about Matt. He was banged up pretty good. He played a middle school basketball game on Monday and was still a little sore. He was at club practice last night going pretty strong. He will be back in action pretty quick.

Thanks to all the wrestlers, coaches and parents that travelled to Burlington last weekend. You made it a lot of fun for a lot of kids!

- Coach Vander Linden
