Augusta's Nick Spaht took first over No. 1 and 2 ranked in 5A at 145 pounds beating Miller 7-3 although "I" do not consider that an upset.

How about Engelbert kicking the crap out of Drennan. Big upset, I think, overshadowed by Johnson handily defeating probably, though.

P.S. Drennan has a hot girlfriend

i'd say tonite was your night off, but you just suck. Come regionals and state, taking a night off is risky as some people going to hays as spectators can tell you.

Results that came in said Spaht won. If that one is wrong, then some of the others may be too. I won't know for sure until tomorrow

I wouldn't consider this match a "huge upset" but the #4 ranked Nick Nothern (Saina South) and #3 ranked Tommy Edgemon (Goddard) was a great match. Nothern won by a score of 3-2.

Yes, you should be, he beat a good wrestler, and I have that mistake that was sent to me on the results corrected online, thanks.

Here's a pretty big upset... @ the miege regionals #6 ranked freshmen Matt Bailes of Turner beat #3 ranked Spencer Buck of Bonner Springs 9-4 or something around there, and he looked like he might've been stuck at the end.

Another one at miege was Josh Flamez pinning Chad Vandenburg with 3 seconds left in the match. Flamez was down 6-3 with 25 seconds left in the match when he put Vandenburg on his back, and scored the fall.

Keith Sponsel (BC) 171 defeated Defending state champion Richardson (AC), and had lost to him twice already this year. I am sure they will meet again in the state finals and we will see who comes out on top when it counts.

Keith Sponsel & Ty Richardson are at 189 lbs. And don't forget they have 14 other wrestlers in their bracket to get through before they automatically meet in the state finals.

I heard that Hejni (sorry if I spelled it wrong) from Hoisington pinned Baker from Hoxie. I heard it was a HUGE upset.

Ty Gennette from concordia was state ranked at 112, but he didnt even make it to state.
