To anyone who had doubted Tyler early in the year, this should be a sign that he's the best 125 pounder. A dominating performance at the Junction City tournament. He had Herrera on his back a couple times and should have had the fall. Good match Ty.

Herrera's not in very good shape, he almost fell down when Annon charged him in the OT match at Newton. He's lucky McCormick didn't pin him. McCormick's looking unstoppable right now.

YEA, it's a sad thing to say the least. He should be in better shape at this time of the year. And like I said, I'm suprised Mac didn't stick him.

For some reason, either my reply didn't get on here, or it got taken off (I don't know why it would have though), but I was just asking why a few (probably 15 or so) of the Emporia fans booed McCormick? Did he do something during the match that was unsportsmanlike?

McCormick is a very technically sound wrestler, wrestling very well right now. But the state tourney is still a few weeks away & the KS Coliseum is a lot different stage than Junction City high school. Hopefully we'll see a lot better match between Herrera & McCormick in Wichita.

I saw the whole match and didn't notice Mc doing anything unsportsmanship like. He was pumped and might have acted a bit cocky but that is understandable for a young man in a big match. So, why were some Emp fans booing at the awards (i, by the way did not notice this)? Sore losers I guess. Not all of them, but as they saying goes - it only takes a few to spoil the barrel.

It wasn't a large booing, by any means. Emporia fans are always classy folks. However, our section was right next to theirs, and there were 10 or so who weren't too happy with McCormick. 'Tis a puzzlement.

I thought I seen on one of the post that BVN & WW are both going to be at the Silver Lake tourny, if so McCormick & Cornejo should meet up there.

Thats right, both WW and BVN will be at the Silver Lake Tourny. That should be a good match between mc and cornejo. I don't know who will win though. I wrestled them both and they are both extremely talented.

about the booing..... many emporia fans from our angle saw that when marcus was shooting and not finishing the front headlocks were choking him and he was driving his chin into the back of marcus's spine.... but u know sometimes get rough in matches and you gotta tough it out.... emporians were probley booing at the reffere leting him hold so long when he should have called a stalemate.... but i apologize for the action our fans might have taken out in that match
