Now I know this is a tough tournment. But who does everybody think will win it, and does any particular wrestler stand out?

CHANUTE TOURNAMENT CHANUTE, COFFEYVILLE, DOUGLASS, PITTSBURG, AUGUSTA. PARSONS, INDEPENDENCE, BLUE VALLEY, TURNER, CLEARWATER, Schlagle, Valley Center, Wichita South, Wichita Southeast: Pardon the caps, but this is from the tournament page. With the absense of a ranked team in the tournament, it is going to boil down to who has the most depth. Several schools have good wrestlers at individual weights. I think in all respect to all wrestlers, I have to pick a three way race here among Augusta, Douglass, and Valley Center depending on how certain individuals from each school wrestle.

If Columbus is there, and they weren't on the list on this site, then I will have to change my prediction slightly. They will win, and Augusta, Douglass, and Valley Center will fight it out for seocnd.

Can anyone answer a question about rankings at 4A 215?
In one ranking Lewis is ranked 3rd and another not. I assume he is wrestling 275 since he is listed there. Demicolli has been wrestling 189 but moved to 5th? Petrosky from Rose Hill isnt listed in earlier polls but now is 3rd and Lawrance totally dropped out? New to this rankings business just wondered.

This is probably one of the most improved teams in the state. I visited with coach Alley after the Buhler duel and we talked about this tournament a little. If you're let me, I'll revise my predictions. Columbus will still win. But now I have a five team race for second although Augusta's chances went down a little last night with a couple agravated injuries which may keep some key wrestlers out Saturday. Bottom line, second place may go down to the last match.

Those two weights would have swung things the Orioles way. Also, losing seven points to spliting points for 3-4 place with wrestlers who reached the 5 match limit hurt them. Look for a tough match from all teams this weekend at Rose Hill.

Chanute female wrestler is Stacy Lassman. I don't know how she's doing. I had heard that she was injured but I don't.
