As a former High School coach I am glad to see the Dual State format take place! I only question the 16 team bracket, think the thing could be done with an 8 team bracket, same format best 2 teams of regionals. In this senerio 1/2 of the 6-5A teams would compete while only 1/4 of 4-A would have a chance.
Would however welcome a 16 team bracket of all
regional winners (6-A through 1-A) to compete for the overall dual championship of the state.
Just A Thought!
