A few coaches and I were talking last night after our duals. We talked about the first week of duals where some of the duals were on a Wednesday and some where on the normal Thursday. We all came to a consensus that we like this. It gave us an opportunity to go watch other schools dual and at the same time, raises the attendence at thos meets.
Does anyone else believe that this is a good idea and putting duals on two consecutive days makes it more interesting?

I like the idea...I've been able to go watch meets locally on one day and then somewhere else the next. The only thing with Wednesday nights though is you might step on some toes of devout Catholics who go to services on that night.

Many schools designate Wednesday night as "family night" and avoid scheduling competitions on that night. This has been true at my current school and previous school. Most faiths have their religious education classes on Wednesday night and this can be particularly true for these smaller communities where there are no private schools that offer religion classes during the day. This past Wednesday was a holy day in the Catholic Church (sorry to get non-secular here) which may have caused some Catholics to go to church on Wednesday night, but usually, Wednesday nights are not a problem for these private schools. The problems come for these small communities where religious education is offered on Wednesday nights and the schhols choose to avoid the conflict.
