Who is this Emmett Smith kid, and where did he come from? Where is KCSumner located? It seems he's came from no where, who has even heard of KC Sumner? He's an ok wrestler, but how come I never heard of him last year?
I think Sumner has had a wrestling program for many years. Years ago they were called Sumner Academy and had a great wrestling team. Glad to hear they have some talent there and are coming back around.
Sumner has had a lot of good kids over the years. Jackson and Koenig were state champs for them and they had some other kids place high over the years. I saw Emmitt earlier in the year and he is a good kid who should get a lot of respect later on. I wouldn't sell anyone short this time of year or belittle where they are from, KCK has had a lot of state champs over the last fifteen years so I would be carefull belittling any of those schools just because they are down a little right now.
