who will win 6a state will it be Hutch again or Manhattan

I have to go with Manhattan. Hutch will get more champs, but I think Manhattan will win it through the back door. If they had had a good Friday last year they would have won it going away.

I think everyone needs to be aware that Garden City dominated at Basehor the same weekend Manhattan won at Hutch. They have as good a shot as anyone.

i hope manhattan doesn't win. those kids need a wake up call.

Everyone seems to think we're cocky, but that is far from the truth. I challenge anyone to find a quote from a Manhattan wrestler that says "we are better than you." We've given big ups to Hoxie- they're the best team in the state. I just complemented Garden City on their win at Basehor. Do we think we can win state? Sure. Do we go around bragging and gloating and saying how we're better than everyone? Of course not.

I can assure you, us "kids" are not cheering against your team, and I would ask that you show us the same respect.

Just a couple of thoughts:
1. Manhattan will take state and
2. Grant Parker (a.k.a. "Prant Garker") will NOT qualify.

It must suck losing 30 pounds for nothing. HA!

Prant: my sister (either one of them) could still kick your butt, oh and by the way you'll qualify, or I'll kick your butt.

PS: is there any truth to the rumor of Manhattan getting out of Newton and going up to Basheor next year?

For the record, Old James played B team basketball in eighth grade.

And again, I don't know who this Grant Parker character is. Hopefully I'll meet him one day. Sounds like a nice chap.
