I know Mike Steinmetz has been out a couple of weeks with an injury. Does anyone from Turner know how he is doing? When should he be back? Hope it's soon, he's fun to watch on the mat.

I e-mailed with his coach this week and I think Coach Sierant expects to have Mike back soon, if not this week.

I have no idea why this is on the "Mike Steinmetz" thread.

HOWEVER, I think the coach is completely out of line. He should never tell his wrestler that he won't amount to anything.

He SHOULD, however, keep making fun of basketball. It's for weenies.

Mike is back this week.

By the way, I do make fun of basketball, but I support our school and its efforts to try and be successful in any undertaking.

I would like to start out saying thanks to Dan Monks for being concerned with my recovery, and taking the time to see how I was doing. I would also like to add my coach has never once been disrespectful to me, or any of my teammates as well. He is always supportive. He is a great coach, and also someone to relate to on the team.

Am I crazy, or was there something on here about a Wyandotte wrestler getting made fun of by his coach? Was that from another thread, and I just posted my message on the wrong one, or did it get removed?
