Do you think the Colby Tournament will be tough again this year, and Could I get some pool information, such as who belongs in what pool and who's all attending the Invitational?
Who do you think will win it too?
Thanks in Advance

The tournament is loaded. They replaced one of the weaker dual teams that has been there over the last few years (Atwood) with Goddard who, looking at the latest results, appears loaded.
Pools usually come out on Tuesday or Wednesday. Teams attending are: Colby Santa Fe Trail Goddard Concordia Garden City Valley Center Hays Hoxie Liberal Oakley Oberlin Phillipsburg Plainville Scott City Chapparel, Co Shawnee Heights TMP Wray, Co

Goddard has a good shot at winning the tournament. They just won the Ark City tourney Beating out Lynch from Texas. They are pretty good at every weight class.

Tournament starts at 2:00 Friday I would guess that Chaparrel would be the clear favorite.

I read Chapparel is 7-0? Did they have another Dual tournament or something? Is that all teams do in certain areas of the state?

That was Chapparel's record last year in the tourney. He must have last year's results up unitl this year's tourney starts.

Several teams have solid line-ups and it should be exciting. We welcome everyone to come watch and looking at the line-ups, I can guarentee you will see some solid early season wrestling at Colby this weekend.
